1. Receive Jesus Christ into your heart.

Once you believe by faith that He died on the cross for your sins and rose again after three days and now lives forever, and ask Him to forgive you and be your Savior and LORD, He will live inside your heart and help you to live the victorious Christian life. You won’t have to struggle through life by yourself anymore (John 3:15-17Romans 10:13Proverbs 18:24John 15:15).

Best of all, God the Father will hear your prayers from that moment on because once you receive Jesus into your heart, the barrier that separated you from God is now removed. Jesus will have paid the price, and God will see you from that moment on as a new person–the brother or sister of his son Jesus.

And He will love you just as much.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row css=”.vc_custom_1525698478743{margin-right: -26% !important;margin-left: -26% !important;}”][vc_column][ld_images_group_container][ld_images_group_element enable_effects=”yes” enable_reveal=”yes” reveal_direction=”tb” image=”3410″][/ld_images_group_element][/ld_images_group_container][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][ld_fancy_heading tag=”p” alignment=”text-center” use_theme_fonts=”” text_font=”font_family:Amiri%3Aregular%2Citalic%2C700%2C700italic|font_style:400%20italic%3A400%3Aitalic” use_custom_fonts_title=”true” enable_split=”true” use_mask=”true” title=”How do we prepare for the meeting” color=”rgb(128, 130, 145)” fs=”22px”]This is Liquid Fancy heading element[/ld_fancy_heading][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]

2. Go through the Bible and pray prayers that have already been prayed.

Such as (in no particular order): Neh. 1:5-11Micah 7:18-20Ephesians 3:14-23Colossians 1:9-12Jeremiah 33:3Hosea 10:12Zechariah 10:12Isaiah 45:11 and 43:26Malachi 3:10-12I Thessalonians 3:1112.

These are just a few. You can also find many books with various prayers written out, all based on Scripture.

Pray these out loud and you’ll soon find yourself connecting on a different level through the power of the Holy Spirit.

3. Pray God’s Word back to Him from singular verses.

There is great power in praying the Word of God aloud, back to Him. He loves it, and besides touching His heart when you do so, you are getting more of His Word into you, thus strengthening your faith.

You can take most verses of the Bible and make them personal. It helps me to use an easy-to-understand version of the Bible, such as the New International Version or New Living Translation Bible, althogh God of course understands every version, and every language. His Spirit will breathe life and understanding into you for whatever version you decide to read as long as you truly seek Him.

Ask the LORD to show you which verses to pray, and make them personal to you–for the Bible is your guidebook, written to you, from a loving and wise God.

Find those that touch on the things you want to pray about. For instance, if you want to pray about your job or business finances, pray verses such as Proverbs 11:18b“Thank you LORD, my good work gets good and honorable pay.”

You could also pray about your work with the scripture: May the favor of the Lord our God rest on us;
    establish the work of our hands for us—yes, establish the work of our hands. Psalm 90:17

When I bless my daughter by speaking the Word over her daily, I have often used Psalm 20, parts of verses 4 and 5: May he give you the desire of your heart and make all your plans succeed. May we shout for joy over your victory and lift up our banners in the name of our God.”

It is easy and delightful to search the Word of God for treasures of Scriptures that you can quickly turn into personal prayers for you and your loved ones. You’ll soon be adding verses, memorizing them, and finding that you hear the soft sound of the Holy Spirit speaking them to you just when you need them most.

Enjoy, and remember–your prayers don’t have to be long. Sometimes at various hard times in my life, I have literally just said, “Help me, Jesus!” out loud, and He does. For when we receive Jesus as our Savior, LORD and best friend, He also becomes our big brother forever. God becomes our Father, and so of course every good brother and father hear and answer the cry of their family member when they call for help.

Ask the LORD to help you. He will help you memorize more verses that you can arrange into your own personal prayers.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
